Issue 3
An annual Arbatov Readings scientific conference was held in ISKRAN in 19 May 2022. It’s key topic was “U.S. and Russia: history lessons and new reality”. Participants were focused on the Ukraine crisis consequences and its influence on Russian-American relations. Panellists identified the prerequisites for the beginning of the conflict and considered the possible options for its treatment. The Middle East dimension of the Russian-American confrontation has been discussed too. In addition to the Ukrainian theme, within the framework of the conference, the participants discussed certain issues of US internal politics and economics, including the historical aspects.
